Course Flow (Operational Rhythm)

Weekly

  • Sprint Planning

    A quick huddle to choose what we’ll achieve this week. Set a one-line goal, pick stories, break them into small tasks, estimate, agree on DoD, owners, due dates, dependencies—and capture any hidden work.

  • Backlog Refinement

    Make future cards “ready to start.” Share context and value, sharpen acceptance criteria, split big items, run spikes for unknowns, revisit priority/deps, and confirm UI, API, and non-functional notes.

  • Code Review

    Submit small PRs with rationale, screenshots, and test results. Reviewers check readability, design fit, impact, security, performance, and a11y. Separate nits from must-fix, praise wins, and record learnings.

Monthly

  • Retrospective

    Monthly check-in. Blend metrics (velocity, bugs, lead time) with team feel, use Start/Stop/Continue, kindly dig into causes, choose 1–3 SMART actions, protect psychological safety, and verify outcomes next time.

Tech Stack

Currently only Django is supported, but Go and React will be supported in the future.

Target Audience

Alamoa's intermediate course graduates or those at the same level are the target audience. If you need to strengthen your basics, please take the corresponding course first.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit card or PayPal. For subscription payments, you need to create and log in to a PayPal account.
Can I change my plan anytime?
Yes. You'll need to cancel your current plan and then subscribe to the new plan. Note that you can continue using the service until the end of the current month after cancellation.
Is refund possible?
Due to the nature of subscription services, we generally cannot provide refunds except where required by law. If you have any questions, please contact our support team. *This refund policy is valid within the scope of applicable laws.
Is it suitable for beginners?
Yes, Alamoa provides a curriculum that allows you to learn from the basics, making it accessible even for those with no programming experience.
Are there opportunities to interact with other students?
Yes, you can connect with other students through the Discord community and regular events.
Is the course online?
Yes, Alamoa is completely online. You can learn at your own pace, anytime and anywhere.
Is there a free trial?
Yes, some courses are available as part of the free plan.
Will I struggle with environment setup?
No worries. With Alamoa, you can start learning immediately without complicated environment setup as most courses allow you to run code online.
I joined the Support Plan, but haven't received the Discord or event information.
Our support team will send you the Discord server link and event details via email by the end of the day (Japan time) or the following day.
Collaborative Development Plan, can I join in the middle?
Yes, you can join by sprint unit.
